Pockels Cell Drivers - FDG Series Nanosecond Pulsers

Pulsers of the FDG series were specially developed for driving of Pockels cells with the capacitance from several hundreds of picofarads to ten nanofarads, including the cells with plasma electrodes.
Depending on the required specifications FDG drivers provide the rise time and fall time from 10 ns to 100 ns at the amplitude of up to 20 kV. Peak current of these generators can reach several kiloamperes.

Pulsers of the FDG series have a built in universal power supply which allows operating them using AC 100-240 V. The output voltage is adjustable in range from 50% to 100% of maximum amplitude. The pulse duration is set by two triggering pulses applied to separate outputs. The delay between the triggering pulses determines the pulse duration which can vary from 100 ns to several microseconds. The triggering pulses should have the amplitude of 20-30V, the rise time of 10-20 ns and the pulse duration of 100ns. Maximum PRF of a FDG series driver is usually a few hertz, although higher values are possible
